  My wife and I dropped in without a reservation after a long drive. Very friendly welcome and quickly offered a table with immediate and attentive service. Drinks brought promptly and order for food quickly and efficiently taken with a friendly smile.
  Food and drink of high standard and very reasonably priced.
  We have since returned on numerous occasions - love this place, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

  Excellent food and service at very good value. As regular customers our only gripe is the difficulty in booking. We can rarely get an answer by telephone. Yesterday we booked online and had a confirmation reply but when we arrived this evening the staff admitted that they hadn't checked the online bookings so we weren't expected. It wasn't a problem as there was plenty of room but I think thought needs to be given to reviewing your system
